WHEN I WAKE UP, I'M AFRAID, SOMEBODY ELSE MIGHT TAKE MY PLACE... |
"Each kitten is blessed with a name that will give them direction in life, a name that they will live up to. Each has
its importance and its gravity, no one more so than the next; how simple their designated ambitions may be, though, is up to them."

Do one of these little buggers catch your fancy? Want to know how to try out for one? Then let's find out!
Rules
1. Available? The parents are not up for adoption. However, all unclaimed cats from the first, second and third litters are open for a home! You aren't required to bring the character in right away, but I do hope that you'll bring them in someday.
2. Set in Stone. Everything that's set above is non-negotiable. Kit names, sex, tribe, and age must stay the same. Skill set is up to you.
3. Breed. All siblings are bombay mixes. In both parents' lineage there is a history of moggies, so you're allowed subtle characteristics of other breeds; tabby markings, the occasional splash of colour, etc. The eye colour can range from green, to yellow, to copper. Some bombays are born with a sable coat, but I'll only be allowing a few of these.
4. Mutations. No heterochromia, sectoral heterochromia, albinism, bobbed tails, polydactyl... basically, zero mutations. The only mutation I might consider is a single calico female, but there's no guarantee of that.
5. Theme. Please make sure you follow the theme at the top of the post! All of these characters should show some evidence of their name in their characterization. For example, notice how Basil has always tried to be a hero and to do what's right at all times for everyone.
Easy enough? Alright, let's look into how you're going to try out for them!
How to Apply
Comment below with which sibling you're interested in trying out for. I'll keep track of who is trying out for which siblings. Keep in mind that this is first-come first-serve. After you place a reserve on a character, you'll have a week to get your tryout in. (If your tryout has expired, please comment below before midnight of the next day to ask for an extension!) I won't accept any tryouts until all other reserves on that character are either submitted or expired. Please ask if you need an extension on your tryout.
To apply, fill out the joining form on the site and post in the character applications board.
If you're considering trying out, please keep the following in mind!
The second litter is three years old, and therefore might require a bit of coordinating with the other players. If you have specific ideas that you'd like to incorporate into the history, please include it when you fill out the form above! I'm always available if you have any questions.
The third litter is only in their adolescence, so they'll still be fairly tight-knit. It'd be really cool to get a group tryout for these characters! Pick up some friends and coordinate your tryouts. However, that seems like a high order, so it's optional. I won't be basing my judgment based on whether you're applying solo or otherwise.
All three litters were raised in the same large community of cats out in exile.
You don't need to provide a visual reference! If you want to, of course that's fine!
The same goes for any additional information. Details are awesome, but remember that you don't have to! Pace yourself, I guess is what I'm saying? Haha ;u;
I'm going to be a little picky about the twin tryouts. I highly recommend that you coordinate your application with someone you're close with; the twins should be very close and similar to each other. Also keep in mind that they are identical twins, so they shouldn't have complicated markings (preferrably they'd be pure black or sable).
Unlike kitten adoptions, there's no due date for this. I'll leave these adoptions open... basically until all of the siblings are adopted, I suppose!
Please don't fill out the form in the comments section! Link me to their app!
With all of that ado, I say: good luck! Good luck with your tryout! *Showers Basil sibbies on you all*
