Each tribe has a level counter, found on the side bar. For every level your tribe gains, the cats of that tribe will earn one additional skill from their skill set. (As mentioned in the Stages thread, apprentices cannot access these additional skills until they become an adult.)
The tribes level up with multiples of 200.
G r a d u a t i n g
Points count towards an apprentice's development in their profession.
In order to have your character graduate at adolescence (12 moons) you must have earned 100 points for your tribe.
To have your character graduate at adulthood (18 moons) you must earn 200 points for your tribe.
If you have contributed more than the required number of submissions to have your character graduate, but would like them to continue their apprenticeship, please contact the mods.

To earn points for your characters tribe, you must do a few certain select things that can count towards furthering the tribe. Below are ways to do so.
Making your first character earns 50 points for their tribe, all the others after that earn 25 for their tribe.
Adopting a character earns 25 points for the tribe they are in.
Starting an rp thread earns 12 points to the character's tribe. Posting earns 7 points to the character's tribe.
Submitting art earns 25 poits to the tribe of your choice.
Sometimes we hold contests or raffles to earn points for the tribe of your choice.
