"The truth is, unless you let go, { H i s t o r y } The beginning is tough... There is always time for a second chance, no matter how long or short that time is. The question is, how to accomplish this goal, when one of your parents dies during the war, the other fleeing for their own safety. How do you recover from that embarrassment, of being so weak that you can't survive without your mate? Sati's mother ran from the war, after she witnessed her mate's body lying on the ground, lifeless, in their camp, while she was pregnant. She had always been opposed of this war, quietly blaming the Spirits for letting such a cruel creature rule over them. Perhaps the Spirits saw this and punished her for her insolent behavior, most likely not. Her mother attained the status of exile, when she turned her back her tribe and the war. She ran, and ran, and ran, until she reached the edge of everyone's territory, hiding in large forests, gaping caves, and dark marshes, until, she finally decided that she had gone far enough. The middle is better... Sati, named Reina before she joined the tribes again, was born during the end of a rainstorm, when the sun was just poking around the dark clouds. She had her father's warm pelt and mother's cool eyes, and her mother loved her instantly. As Reina grew older, she was told of the Tribes' stories, mainly those that involved her mother and father. Despite her mother's warnings, Reina warmed to the idea of having some sort of power inside of her. She wanted stories of the actual Tribes, not her parents. Her mother only told her small things, little bits of information on the Tribes. Her curiosity got the best of her and she snuck away one day, wanting to go see the Tribes for just a couple seconds, then come back and show her mother that she was still loyal. But can you leave something that already had its grasp around you? And the ending is unknown... { O n t h e o u t s i d e } If an onlooker was to find this she-cat, they would see her warm orange pelt with brown stripes crisscrossing her pelt and a patch of white on her chest and beneath her throat. To an onlooker, her coat might actually be quite beautiful, though once they come closer to her, they will find her coat has lost its sheen; dust and grime cover her would-be bright white fur, the end result of trying to find minerals to sell and trade. Her eyes have seem to have lost their shine, along with her fur; they seem to be once a bright green to them, now are dull and muddy. If said onlooker looked closer, they would see a piece of her skin on her right ear has gone missing, perhaps due to a scuffle she was in. The she-cat seems to have a high regard for the scar, always flaunting it around, like some sort of trophy. Powerful muscles ripple whenever she walks; the Clan life has not been cruel to her, well, at least outwardly. { O n t h e i n s i d e } The good... Fearless | Tidy | Independent | Pro-active Fearless A chance to prove herself worth, Sati is always willing to go out on a mission, no matter how small or big it is. However, this comes out in reckless bursts, as she has had no one to particularly guide her and help her. She's headstrong and difficult to control. Tidy Sati makes sure that everything has its own place, nothing is out of sorts. Chaos, is not allowed here. She's clean when she eats and kills, and after she wakes up. There is almost an obsession with cleanliness. Without the sigh of seeing it clean, she has to double back. Independent Coming from a family that only had one parent, Sati is used to doing stuff on her own. Actually, she likes to be alone, having a moment all to herself. It's rewarding to figure out a problem by herself and not have anyone else claim credit. Pro-active Along with showing her independence, the she-cat will most likely do a job, without being told, whether it's needed or not. More often then not, a couple extra pieces of prey will appear in the pile, without a single order being called out. and the bad... Emotionally controlled | Detached | Secretive | Perfectionist Emotionally controlled A cool expression will most likely take its place on her features; she rarely has any emotions on her face. It's a bit difficult to tell what she's thinking or feeling. This is why it's difficult to hold a conversation with her, as she says everything in such a monotonous way. Detached Sati doesn't quite know how to be around such a large group, as it has just been her mother and she. The only way she knows how to act is to remain distant, to not form any connections. After all, she's going to be leaving soon, she has to go back to her mother... Secretive Since Sati is hard to read, she doesn't come across as being open and welcoming. She keeps to herself, talking to others only if they come up to her. This way, she can control the inflow of questions Perfectionist Being distant means that you can judge people from afar, without feeling any pity or remorse for it. Sati needs everything to be perfect, especially when she has heard so many stories about how beautiful life was when her parents were there. unless you forgive the situation, { F a m i l y } [The intelligent patriarch in a smooth black robe...] Cian | 52 moons old | shadow | deceased; died at 30 moons [The cool matriarch in a shining black gown...] Rachelle | 47 moons old | shadow | ?? [Favorite place] Trees of Killian: A quiet place for a quiet feline. Sati loves to be around nature and have a moment to herself. Her favorite thing is to wander around, letting the "voices" of the forest whisper sweet nothings to her. you cannot move forward.” { R o l e - p l a y e x a m p l e } An intruder, someone had infiltrated her quiet spot. Her head snapped up, her ears swiveled towards the noise, and her eyes dilated. Who was it? Was it a tribe-mate? If it wasn't, was she allowed to attack them? It had only been a day since she had joined and she had yet to figure out if she was to actually be able to do something if someone was in the Shadow-Tribe's territory. Sati turned around slowly, taking everything in, her face a mask of indifference. Whomever it was, she could take care of. After all, that's what her mother taught her: to be cool, calm, and collected. She paused as she heard the sound of soft breathing and turned her head towards the noise, her green eyes slowly narrowing. "Come out now, I know you're there." The she-cat waited, her ears pricked for any movement or sound. She strained her ears and nose for everything, though the sound and smell of someone there disappeared. Had she finally gone insane, or was it the difficulty in being away from her mother too much for her? Disgusted with herself, she flicked her tail, taking a couple deep breaths, calming her racing heart. No, no, she had to maintain control over these pesky emotions. Just take a deep breath. That's it... That's it. Whatever it was, is gone now. She could continue forwards. This was just a normal day, there was nothing to be afraid of.
